How long is too long? to keep taking Coumadin 16mg?

I have been on 16mg of Warfarin (Coumadin) for 6 months now. My INR Levels have not changed. My doctors won't increase the Warfarin which is fine by me. My PT/INR Levels are 1.48. I am on this for DVT.
